ANDERSON, GARY

Children: Beth – 31/2, Eric – 1 ½

Gary graduated CWSC in 1977 with a degree in accounting. He worked in a CPA firm for one year and has managed a local grocery store for 5 1/2 years. (When asked what he has done for the last ten years he said, “Everything Susan told me to do”. “Very funny Gary!”) Gary’s hobbies include building a boat, motocross, and skiing.

ASBRIDGE, AIMEE

Spouse: Paul Kenney

Aimee graduated from the University of Washington and went on to the United State Air Force Officer Training School in Texas. She was commissioned there and went on to Florida to become an Air Weapons Controller. Both she and Paul are Captains in the Air Force and have traveled to Texas, Florida, Iceland and Germany. Aimee still enjoys sewing, gardening, and photography. We won’t be able to see Aimee at the reunion as she and Paul will be in Germany.

BARNES, DONNA (WILSON)

Donna spent her time working until the children were born. Now she is a full-time homemaker and mother. Her husband works at PSNS. Donna and Bob have been to Hawaii, California (Disneyland) and Lake Tahoe. Donna enjoys sewing, swimming and aerobics.

Since graduation, Paul has traveled the United States and throughout the world extensively. He has successfully written and published three books. In 1979, Paul accomplished his long time goal of locating his natural parents in New York. Debra is currently teaching English.

Burley

After graduation Sandy spent three years in the Army. In 1977 he went to work at the PSNS Fire Dept. In 1979 Sandy left the Fire Dept. to work for himself as an Investment Consultant and Real Estate Salesperson with the MAR-AD Co. Sandy has traveled all 50 states, Korea, Japan, Vietnam and Australia. His interests are in sports and horses.

Sandy worked in the advertising department of a local lumber store for a number of years. She changed careers when Deanne was born: now she is a domestic engineer. Her husband works in the area as a Carpenter. Sandy’s hobbies keep her very busy as she raises Appaloosa and Quarter horses.

Sherry and Tom were married in 1974 and have lived in Port Orchard. Sherry is currently a waitress at the Hi-Joy Restaurant. She has also been working in Nursing for the Health Dept. for seven years. Tom is currently employed with Faith Upholstery and was a co-owner of a Texaco station. Sherry has traveled to Hawaii, South Carolina, California and Montana. Her hobbies include softball, gardening, upholstery, reading and garage saling.

Barbara left Washington three years ago, married and settled there to raise her family. She is working as a waitress. Since graduation, she has traveled in Washington, Oregon, California, and Nevada. Ron is a farmer. Barbara enjoys needlepoint in her spare time.

Pat attended SU in Grenoble, France in 1975, where she met Joe. They returned to the States where they were married. Pat has been an accountant for the Associated Grocers since 1977

BONDURANT, ROSA CHRISTINE (COX)

After graduation, (Rosa) Chris traveled to California. She met Ralph there and they traveled on to Texas in August of 1973 and married in February of 1974. She worked three years for a department store but has since left there for a career as a homemaker and mother of their two children. Her husband is employed in the Fort Worth area as an electrician. Their travels have included visits to several states between Texas and Washington. In her spare time she enjoys ceramics, crocheting, embroidery, needlepoint and sewing.

BOUDREAUX, LOUIS

Quantico, Virginia

After graduation, Louis went to Central WA University, graduated in 1977. He then went on to basic school of the U.S. Marine Corps in Quantico. Next to Fort Sill, OK and the U.S. Army Artillery School. He was with the 1st Marine Div. at Camp Pendleton, CA and then with the 3rd Marine Div. in Okinawa, Japan. He is now a Captain with the H&S C. back in Quantico. Louis is still running and has some impressive runs behind him: NAIA Small College Cross Country All-American 1976 (Fall Season), a 3,000 meter Steeplechase record for CWU (9:55,91) placed 5th at the National Meet. Louis also enjoys photography. His travels include some far off places: Okinawa, Japan; Seoul, Korea; London, England and Hawaii.

BRADLEY, ROBERT

Federal Way

Robert worked for the FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C. for one year after graduation. He then went into the Air Force for seven and a half years and is currently a police officer with the Kent Police Department.

Cheryl and Leon have been able to start their own company – both being certified Polygraphists after attending polygraph school. Previous to that Leon was working as a Mason County Deputy Sheriff. As a family, tennis and swimming are their favorite hobbies.

Bridget went off to school at WSU, graduated in 1977. She worked as a Graphic Designer at Cole and Weber Advertising Agency in Seattle for five years. She and Michael married in 1980 and their son was born in 1981. They now live on Fox Island. Bridget is a full-time loving mother and part-time teaches aerobic classes in Tacoma.

BYDALEK, MARTIN

Winter Park, FL

Between the years of 1973 through 1978, Martin attended Olympia Community College, Bellevue Community College and the University of Washington. Martin’s photography skills started him into capturing water-skiers on film. In 1979, he produced the world’s first line of artistic waterskiing posters 1980 and then in 1983 came out with the word’s first waterskiing calendar. He currently works in Florida as a Commercial Photographer and Creative Consultant. His travels have taken him to Florida, Texas and Hawaii five times!

Since graduation, William has traveled Europe, Canada and Mexico. He is working in sales with Fitz Auto Parts Inc. Jill is a CPA in the Seattle area. William’s hobbies include riding dirt bikes, rebuilding cars and sports.

Vicky has spent the majority of the last ten years as a happy wife and building a family. She and Chuck have lived in Swienfurt, Germany and Colorado Springs, Colorado prior to moving back to Port Orchard. Chuck is employed as a Pipefitter and Vicky careen is that of not only a homemaker (and enjoying it) but also a Cultural Consultant. Vicky is active in sports, mainly softball, and also enjoys drawing and reading. And her ending to us, Born Again!

Diana started working as a bag girl at Thriftway in Bremerton in 1973. She then worked her way up to Head Checker at Market Foods in Silverdale where she has been employed for the past nine years. Diana and Mike have been married almost two years. Mike is a Hairdresser at Salon 114 in Manette. Diana has traveled to the Hawaii islands many times and enjoys fishing in Canada every year. Diana has been playing golf for three year and enjoys snow skiing.

Nancy and Mike were married in March 1974. She worked at Sears in Bremerton until her first child was born. She is now busy as a housewife and mother to her three children. She plans on going back to work when her children get a little older.

CLEMENT, LYNNE (GRIFFITH)

After graduation, Lynne went to UPS, graduated in May of 1978. She was then able to take six weeks and tour all of Europe. Upon return to the states, she passed her exam for Certified Public Accountant and went to work as a Defense Contract Auditor. Rick was a former classmate at UPS of Lynne’s and since July of 1982, they have been enjoying their first son, Timothy. With the birth of their son, Lynne changed careers to that of mother and housewife, with a limited accounting practice. Rick still keeps up with the family profession as he is also a CPA. Lynne’s hobbies still include her love of horses and she also enjoys woodcarving.

CLIFTON, BILLI (MIDDLETON)

Billi and Michael married in 1974. She worked for years as an auto parts store bookkeeper and a one year as a doctor’s receptionist and bookkeeper. The last three years, she has kept more than busy as a homemaker and mother, but also has been doing children daycare in her home. Michael works as a Park Serviceman. They have had the opportunity to travel in Canada and Minnesota. Billi’s hobbies include cooking, gardening, and reading.

After graduation, Mike traveled for the first few years. Not far, just a lot. He lived in the Midwest for six months on the Missouri River. Mike owed a printing business and taught graphics at Bremerton High School. He has traveled the Northwest Coast by motorcycle. His hobbies are diving, hiking and motorcycles.

After graduation, Kathy worked for four years at the Naval Torpedo Station Keyport. She then moved to Mount Vernon. In 1978, Kathy went to work for Safeway where she is now an Assistant Manger. Kathy travels have taken her to all the Hawaiian Islands several times, California, Nevada, and other states. Kathy’s hobbies include skiing, water skiing and dancing.

Russell went on to attend the University of Washington. He graduated with a degree in Bachelor Science in Chemical Engineering. He was hired by the Union Oil Company in July 1977 and is employed as an engineer. Share time is occupied by his interest in music and golf.

Ed went to Olympic College for awhile then worked at ranching for a short time. He then enlisted with the Coast Guard and was stationed on the Oregon Coast and Juneau, Alaska. After this Ed logged in Oregon and then got a job on a tug boat. He is currently working as a garbage man in Anchorage. Ed has traveled the West Coast from Baja, CA to Barrow, AK. He enjoys racquet sports, boating and biking.

Steve went to the University of Washington for two years for Business Law and Management. He traveled on to Los Angeles for another year. He has had business ventures through the years that have taken him and his family across the country. He currently works as an Estimator, Supervisor for Service Fuel Company. Hobbies include racquetball, golf, and motorcycles.

DeLANCY, DOREEN (ROSS)

Kirkland

Spouse: Mark

Doreen went on to Olympic College for two years obtaining an AA degree in the Medical Assistant’s Program. She then spent two more years at CWU and received a BA degree in Clothing and Textiles. After college she eventually return to the Seattle area and is employed as a Secretary/Time and Attendance Clerk with the Federal Government. Thanks to this job and her daily commute on Metro – she met a great guy. She and Mark married in June 1981. Mark is employed by Lockheed Marine as a Senior Program Planner and Scheduler, also attends UPS; graduating in the Spring. They have been able to travel to the Midwest twice (Minnesota and Iowa) and plan more extensive travels after Mark’s graduation. Doreen enjoys sewing and interior decorating; both enjoy dining out and movies in the Seattle area.

After graduation, Desiree worked for Seattle Flight Service. There she met and married her former husband. They lived in Seattle area for seven years before moving to Oregon. She moved back to the area and is now working for Scott Wetzel Services in Bremerton. Her travels took her throughout the States, to Italy and Greece. Her hobbies include Karate (hoping to obtain her black belt before old age sets in), running and bowling.

DUMBAUGH, DICKSON

Dickson has been employed at PSNS for the last nine year, currently in the air conditioning/refrigeration department. He is a volunteer lieutenant firefighter for the District 7, Station 3, of Port Orchard. He has also had the opportunities through his work at PSNS to travel to Spain, France, Africa, Washington D.C., and many trips to California. Both he and Lori enjoy their hobbies of jeeping (Dickson loves working on cars) and both are animal lovers.

Calvin went to PLU where he graduated with a BS in Chemistry. He then went to the University of Washington Dental School and graduated in 1981. Calvin then joined the U.S. Army Dental Corp and is currently stationed in Korea. His travels include Canada, the Caribbean, Korea and Kansas (yuk!) His hobbies include skydiving, hiking, climbing and hunting.

Vera was married for nine and a half years, she is now single again and raising her three children. She has traveled to Illinois and Oak harbor, WA. Her hobbies include working with Scouts and baseball.

ERICKSON, VICKI (BUMBAR)

Vicki is an Administrative Supervisor with the U.S. Army based at Fort Ord, CA. She is presently working in the U.S. Army Combat Developments Experimentation Activity – Test Concepts Division, developing new ideas and equipment for use in today’s and tomorrow’s Army. Both she and Michael have had many assignments with the Army which has allowed them to travel to England, Germany (both East and West Berlin), Holland, Belgium, France, and many places in the United States. Michael is a U.S. Army TOW Missile Systems Repairer/ Supply and Logistical Sergeant. Vicki’s activities are varied. She has worked as a part-time model in San Diego, also in/with Army hospitals and their crisis programs for abused wives and children. Vicki and Michael enjoy many hobbies including reading, writing, sewing, target shooting, and auto racing.

Janice went on to Attend Western Washington University where she graduated with a Spanish degree. She traveled on to Florida for six months then moved back to the Seattle area in 1978. She currently works in a motion picture lab as a bookkeeper and office manager. Her hobbies include cross country skiing, softball, photography, but she also enjoys her home and many friends –and her special friend Jim.

Randy works for the Weyerhaeuser Co. as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic. He married another classmate from South Kitsap, Joanne Paulsen. Joanne has a career as a legal secretary/word processor.

Laura lived in Wahiawa, Hawaii, from 1974 to October 1976, while her ex-husband was stationed at Schofield Barracks Army Base. She is currently busy as a mother to her two children.

Cheryl has worked nine years at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She spent seven years there in the Intensive Care Unit and now is working in the Recovery Room. Cheryl and Richard have been married five years. They are trying to start a small five acre farm. Richard has been a Machinist at PSNS for four and a half years and spent four years in the Navy. Cheryl spent three months traveling around the U.S. in a motorhome. Her hobbies are motorcycles and needlecraft.

FORTENOT, MONA (SHIFLETT)

After their marriage, Ramona and Jerry spent their honeymoon in British Columbia. They then moved to Yokosuka, Japan. Jerry was stationed onboard the USS Midway stationed on shore in Yokosuka. They spent almost five years overseas. Currently they are living in Port Orchard and are both employed in the area. Ramona is a Medical Records Tech at NRMC and Jerry is a Stationary Engineer at Frances Haddon Morgan Children’s Center.

Joanne worked at J.C. Penney’s for five years after graduating until she was able to open her own craft business, “Creations by Joanne”. Donald works as a Pipefitter at PSNS. Recently they were able to take a family vacation to Disneyland. Her hobbies include slow pitch baseball, camping, and of course crafts!

Ed was stationed at Denver and Las Vegas during 1973 through 1975 wile in the Air Force. From 1975 through 1979 he attended UPS. Ed then moved around in construction jobs from 1979- 1980 trying to decide what he wanted to be. Since 1980, Ed has been trying to establish his name journalism. He is currently a sports writer. Kate is working as restaurants manager. Ed’s travels include Mexico and his honeymoon in Puerta Vallarta. His interests are basketball and slow pitch.

GEHRING, ROBERT JR.

After graduation, Rob attended the University of WA where he played football. He coached for two years following college. He is currently working in outside sales selling material handling products.

Sherry worked for McGavin’s Bakery for seven until their son was born. She is now a full-time mom and also instructs evening exercise classes at North Mason High School for the last four years. Sherry enjoys sewing and decorating wedding cakes. She and Lonnie have traveled to Hawaii and California.

GILMORE, JOHN

Oak Harbor

John went on to WSU and played baseball for them, graduated in 1978 with a BS Degree in Physical Ed. He and Michelle married and move to Whidbey Island after college. He teaches and coaches at Oak Harbor High School and Michelle teaches there, French and Spanish. They were able to spend the summer of 1979 traveling in Europe: spending time in England, Switzerland, Italy and France. John’s hobbies are the same: loves that baseball – he plays semi-pro with the Bellingham Bell’s and also riding motorcycles.

GRANT, LINDA (BEARBOWER)

For a few years after graduation, Linda worked in the area and attended college on a part-time basis. In May of 1975, she was hired by Alaska Airlines and has been with them since that time. She is employed as a Flight Attendant. Both she and Ric have been able to travel to France, Mexico, and Hawaii, several trips to Alaska and in the lower 48.

GRIFFITH, DIANE (PECHIA)

Diane attended Beauty School beginning in September of 1973 and graduated in October of 1974. Shortly thereafter she received her cosmetology license. That career has kept her busy ever since. Her husband, Robert, is employed at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as a Boilermaker.

GROTEM, RANDY

Turlock, CA

Spouse: Janeen Mellick

Randy graduated from Seattle University in 1978. By 1980 he moved on to California where he accepted the job as a club manager and heard tennis pro at a racquet club. He enjoys traveling and playing in NCTA Tennis Tournaments. He is currently working on his Northern California raking. He and Janeen married in 1982 and she is an employee of Frontier Airlines. They have traveled to Mexico, the Caribbean, Florida, Nevada, and throughout Northern California. Besides traveling as a hobby, they also enjoy tennis, skiing, and other sports.

HACK, MARY (ALLBRIGHT)

Mary is currently employed as a warehouse worker. She has traveled in Hawaii and Canada since graduation. Stephen is working as an Inventory Auditor. Mary’s interests outside her home include camping, fishing and bowling.

Dennis is an Operating Engineer and was involved in tearing down the old high school and he also did al the dirt moving necessary for the new SKHS swimming pool and athletic fields. He enjoys the hobbies of fishing and also a drift boat guide.

Jim went on to attend Pacific Lutheran University and graduated BBA in May of 1977. He and Molly married in December of the same year. In June of 1978, they moved to Port Angeles where Jim was employed by Motorola, Inc. and currently is an Account Executive for them. Molly works in Port Angeles area as a teacher. Their vacations have included travels to Europe, the Caribbean, Eastern and Southern USA. Jim’s interests include being a daddy, but also photography, golf and sport officiating.

HALVORSON, DARYL

Daryl wasn’t more than a year out of high school when he was hired as an apprentice at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He has been there ever since and is an electrician. Enjoying our beautiful Pacific Northwest is his hobby: hiking and water skiing to name a few sports that he is active in

Following graduation, Joe attended Colorado Mountain College and received his degree in Ski Tech and Management. He returned to the Bremerton area where he continued studies at Olympic College. In 1975 he met Pam and they were married in 1976. They both lived and worked in the Seattle area until after the birth of their first child in 1979. It was back to Bremerton where Joe is now employed by Seattle First National Back as a Collection Manager and as a bank officer. Pam also is at Seattle First in the Foreign and Domestic Exchange department. Their second child, a son, was born in 1981. Most recently, in 1982, they purchased their new home. Travels include Canada, California, Hawaii, and Colorado. His hobbies are racquetball, sow skiing, and water skiing.

HAWKINSON, NANCY (MUSSEY)

Nancy was married to Dennis just one week after she graduated from high school and they moved to San Antonio, Texas. For the first three years, she worked as an Air Conditioning Secretary until the birth of her daughter. She then changed careers; she owns and operates her own home daycare center. Her husband is employed in the area as a High Voltage Electrician. They have traveled back to Port Orchard twice in the last ten years and have been able to travel throughout the Southern Texas. In her spare time, Nancy has been learning folk painting and she does many other crafts.

Deairea and Michael spent most of the last six years living in the San Diego area where Michael has been based the last six of his eleven years with the U.S. Navy. She mentioned how much she enjoys the beaches and the weather in the San Diego area but how great it is to be back home again in the Pacific Northwest. They both enjoy tennis and their three children.

Betty attended Olympic College for two years and then transferred to Center Washington University in June of 1977. She has been teaching in the Tahoma School District (Maple Valley) for the last five years as a Special Education Teacher. Her husband, Brian, is a Wildlife Biologist. They have been able to travel to Washington D.C. and the Southern U.S. with many trips to British Columbia, California and Nevada. Betty has many hobbies some of which are crocheting, sewing and reading.

Shortly after high school, Rodger completed his inside machinist apprenticeship at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He has continued his employment there; having been at PSNS a little over nine years. Debbie and Don spent two and a half years in Germany while he was in the military. During their stay they visited twelve different countries. Both are working at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Olympic College was the next stop for Guy where he studied for two years. During his time at OC he was employed at Safeway Stores and has continued to work for Safeway for the last ten years. He currently works for the Port Orchard store. Debbie is a teacher at the South Colby School in our district. They were married in 1978. Travels have taken Guy to Florida in 1976. Both he and Debbie enjoyed Hawaii in 1981. Motorcycling, fishing, golfing, and skiing keep Guy busy in his free time.

Greg and Kim married in August 1975 and have lived in Port Orchard since that time. Greg was working at PSNS as an Apprentice Machinist from 1073-1977 and is now a Machinist there. He started as a volunteer firefighter for South Kitsap Dist #7 in July 1973 and is now Battalion Chief with Orchard Heights Station #3. His interests include camping and bowling.

Debbie has been in Cashmere area now for the last six years and has been employed for the State Hwy Department as a snow-plower (Maintenance Tech I) for the past five years. Her husband, Don, is employed in the some area as an Electronics Engineer. They enjoy their life on their five acre farm. Half is an apple orchard and the other half is used for raising animals. Debbie still has her horses and devotes any share time to a big garden.

Since graduation, Cynthia has worked eight years in the field of banking and is currently employed as an Accounting Technician for the Federal Government. Gary has been working as a Mechanic on automobiles as a full-time profession since he left high school. Even in his hobbies, his enjoyment is working on car shows. He has been working on a V-8 Vega for the last four years and also enjoys fast car, motorcycles, go-carts and going to car races. Even a broken leg in a motorcycle accident didn’t damper his spirits. He has taken some time off to do some traveling in Canada.

Nanette has progressed in the dental field, living throughout Washington State. She attended school for Dental Hygiene and currently works in the Seattle area as a Dental Assistant. She has been able to travel, mainly to Oregon, California, Sun Valley and Mexico. Those hobbies that keep her very active are softball, jogging, and skiing. Her future plans include her upcoming marriage in December of ‘83.

Since graduation, Robin has married and had four children. She worked as a volunteer at the Purdy Treatment Center. Robin has also driven a church bus and is involved with a marriage group and a Girl Scout group. Dennis is employed as a Machinist. Robin has traveled to Chicago. Her hobbies include calligraphy, backpacking, sewing, crocheting, and playing the piano.

From 1974 through 1975 Caly attended Olympic College and received his AA in music. He then moved to Fairbanks, Alaska in 1976 and established his career. Then in 1979 Caly moved to Maui, Hawaii for six months thawing period. In 1980 through 1981 he was at Keyport. Since 1982 he has been back in Port Orchard and working for Pan Am TSP at NRMC as a Power Plant Operator. Caly’s travels have taken him to Alaska, Hawaii and the Florida Keys. His hobbies include music, skiing and scuba.

Peggy went on to two years of college and then to employment at Bangor-Domsea Fish Farm and also the Craft Corner in Port Orchard. After high school Cindy spent the first two years as a nomad, going wherever people needed her in different states. Then in 1975 went to Seattle Bible Training School for one year - Mary Cornwell had already been there a year. During that year she met her future husband, Tom, who was attending Northwest Bible College in Kirkland. In July of 1976 Cindy went to take care of her bedridden Granny until she got on her feet and Mary left for Israel. January 1, 1977, Cindy landed in Israel and worked in a restaurant at Vered Hagalil, Israel. Mary was already there working with the horses. Cindy came back to the States and Mary stayed at the ranch. Cindy and Tom were married in September, 1977. In 1979 they returned to Israel with seven month old Jesse and worked in Haifa and Eilat. In 1980, returned again to the states, lived in University Place and there Joseph was born, a month later moved to Steilacoom for a year, during that time Tom’s parent paid their way to Mexico for a visit. In 1981 they moved to Rupert, ID. Tom is a Pastor and works at an Amoco Gas Refinery. Naomi was born in January and she is a little joy. Cindy enjoys having fun with the kids, she enjoys being outside, and working with her hands.

Mary is still in Israel working with the horses.

Dennis attended Highline Community College in 1974. Then he went on to L.H. Bates Fire Service Training from 1975 -1976. from 1977 to the present he has been with the Pasco Fire Department as a firefighter. Through training a Central WA University he has upgraded to now being a Paramedic/Firefight, the first to do so in his department’s history. His hobbies are hunting, fishing and sports.

Lynn graduated from PLU in 1977. After college she taught for three years at Cedar Heights Jr. High. During this time she lived with Debbie Murley until she met and married Paul in June 1979. She taught 6th grade at Manchester until she had Christopher in September 1981. Lynn then quit teaching school but continued to have a tutoring business at home. Paul is a Real Estate Appraiser for Paul Olson Appraisals. Lynn has traveled for the summer to Norway to visit relatives 1978 and for their honeymoon to Hawaii. Her hobbies include her family, hiking, reading and music.

Dee Dee worked for six years as a computer terminal operator in the Kitsap County Assessor’s Office. In July of 1979 she and Kip were married. With the birth of their first child, Dee Dee changed careers to that of a happy homemaker and wife. They own their own business. Kip is a Building Contractor/Home Designer. Their travels include a glorious honeymoon in Hawaii on the islands of Oahu and Maui. Dee Dee devotes her time to caring for children and her church activities.

The hobbies that Alan enjoys are fishing, listening to music and he loves to barbeque.

Do spent four years in the Air Force. He attended Olympic College working toward a degree in Justice. He married Patricia, “a wonderful girl”, in 1979. Don is a Police Sergeant and president of the Evergreen Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police. His wife is a RN. Don has traveled to Southwest Asia and just about every state in the U.S. He enjoys four-wheeling, model trains, camping, fishing and movies.

Right after graduation, Susan moved to Tenino area. She worked for the State for seven years and currently is a Legal Secretary in the State Attorney General’s Office in Olympia. Her husband, Jim, is the owner of their own business, Airport Truck and Auto Wrecking. Their travel includes mostly in-State camping and fishing. In Susan’s free time, she enjoys music and antiques.

Carolyn has been attending college the past two years for her AA degree in early Childhood Ed. Her husband is also employed in this area as, a Vocational Educator, a Minister, and an Electrician. They are both looking forward to moving soon. They have eleven acres on the Tahuya River where they will be building a dome home. Her hobbies keep her very busy; she enjoys writing, jogging, playing the autoharp, and racquetball.

Colleen attended CWSC for two years while working summers at Crater Lake National Park in Oregon. There she met her future husband Carl in 1975. They married in May of 1977 and lived in Bellevue. They purchased their first home in Port Orchard. In January of 1980 , they moved to sunny, southern California and have been there since. However, they hope to soon move back to the Northwest. Over the years Colleen has worked for two successful real estate development firms up until May of 1982 when she retired to have her twins daughters. She is now a “full-time” mom and enjoying it.

After high school, Jeffrey left for Europe where he spent an enjoyable four and a half months traveling through many countries. Upon returning to the U.S., he joined the Navy where he stationed at Jacksonville, Florida and he served for four years. He then traveled back to the area where he attended Olympia College for two years. His hobbies of snow skiing and golfing keep him quite active in this area.

STOWELL, GEORGE

George teamed up with the US Air Force in 1974 and stayed in through 1981. He lived mainly in Texas but attended Air Force schools around the country. He constructed the Dallas Reunion Center Tower singlehanded (!) and also mentions he became the proud owner of a black german shepherd, (a very brave dog). Travel brought him back to this area where he works as a Building Inspector for Pacific Testing Labs. His wife Leslie is a teacher in the area and also an almost mother. (Now we understand he “Unknown” children!). His hobbies include water rafting, sailing, and searching for D.B. Cooper (also called hiking).

Bonnie completed a four year electronics apprenticeship at PSNS where she still works, now as an Electronics Mechanic. Larry also works as an Electronics Maintenance Mechanic at PSNS. Bonnie’s work at PSNS enabled her to go out on the USS Kitty Hawk for five days on its sea trails. Bonnie and Larry enjoy square dancing in their spare time.

Kevin graduated from Western WA University with a BA degree in Recreation Administration/Environmental Education. He worked several years with the US Forest Service and is currently providing the elderly with transportation. Kevin has bike toured the West Coast and New England. Hobbies include backpacking, bike touring, and cross country skiing. Good friends. He also remembers a good number of teachers who really cared about their students

Vickie has traveled through much of the Western and Midwestern States. Her hobbies include motorcycle riding, fishing, camping, sewing, traveling and country western dancing.

Kari moved over to the Seattle area where she has lived since graduation. She is currently enjoying the summer off and will return to her job as a Medical Receptionist in the fall. Her husband, Gary, is employed in the Seattle area as an Engineer with the FAA. They have been able to travel to Hawaii twice on their vacation. Besides just enjoying her time with her husband and children, flower arranging also keeps Kari busy.

WALBERG, TERRY (BROCK)

Terry attended Olympia College for awhile and then worked as a tailor at Kahn’s Men’s Store in Bremerton. In March of 1974, she and Jack were married and together they joined the Air Force. They were both trained as electronic technicians, living in Denver, Colorado and Mountain Home, Idaho. In May of 1980 they return to this area. Jack is currently in the apprentice program at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Tery became a full-time homemaker when their son was born in November or 1976. she also teaches Sunday School for 3-4 year olds and is a part-time organist/pianist at their church, Bethany Lutheran.

WENNERBERG, CAROL (KEITH)

Seattle

Children: Benjamin C.W.-3, Kelly Marie- 8 months

Carol attended Beauty School during 1973-1974 and began working as a cosmetology manager/operator in Bremerton area. She moved to Seattle in 1977 after meeting Benjamin and they were married in May of 1978. Their first child was born in June of 1980 and their second in September of 1982. They have their own business called Keith Custom Framing. Benjamin, in addition works as a D.J. at the Northend Raintree. Carol now is concentrating mainly on her home and family. In Carol’s free time, she enjoys gardening, interior decorating and is a member of the W.S. Jayces.

WHISENANT, LONNIE

Bremerton

Lonnie has worked as an Electrician at PSNS for nine years. Travels include Hawaii, California and time working in New York. Lonnie likes to snow ski, hike and golf.

WIKOFF, RHONDA (SCHOONOVER)

Rhonda is a very successful homemaker with her four children. She also teachers a class for 7 and 8 year old girls and teaches the 4th grade class in there church. Her husband is employed in the area as Assistant Manager for Westbay Auto Parts II. Their travels include four trips to Los Angeles and San Diego – because as a family they love Disneyland and Sea World! Her hobbies are sewing, camping, derby racing, and she is an aerobic fanatic.

WILLIAMS, KATHERINE (ALBERTSON)

Great Falls, Montana

Kathy and Randy married in 1973. Randy has been and still is in the U.S. Air Force, so courtesy of the Air Force they lived in Texas, Illinois, Las Vegas, Japan (for four years) and for the past six months in Great Falls. At every place they have lived, Kathy has worked as Secretary, a profession she enjoys. They saw a lot of Japan while based there. And try to tour as much of each state where they have lived. Her hobbies include sewing, knitting, many home art projects (stained glass, ceramics, etc..)

WOOD, BARBARA (HOUK)

Barbara went to Northwest College in Kirkland for one year. She then returned to this area and became Assistant manager at Picadilly Clothing Stores for two years. They lived in Bremerton for five years and are now back living in Port Orchard for the last four years. Her husband, Peter, is an Electrical Inspector. They have been able to travel to California and Mexico over the years. Her hobbies include aerobics, tennis, and computing.

WORLAND, WENDYLOU (SODEMAN)

Wendy has moved a total of eighteen times over the years but hopefully they are settled now on 21/2 acres that is very private and peaceful. She has worked for doctors, three law enforcement agencies, various oil or energy related companies and the U.S. Government. She has finally decided on the best job for her; that of Police Clerk with the Port Orchard Police Department. Her husband works for the City of Seattle as a Firefighter. Their honeymoon was a splurge to Acapulco. Now they confine their travels between here and Wyoming, where Earl is from. Wendy’s spare time is taken up on photography, handicrafts and gardening.

YINGLING, KEN SR.

Port Townsend

Ken has been employed by Keith Uddenberg, Inc., for quite some time and currently is employed as a store director in Port Townsend area. When he does get a chance to travel, he goes no further than good ‘ole Port Orchard! Share time in Port Townsend is spent playing golf.

ZDENEK, RUSSELLE ‘Ruffie’ (PIKE)

Ruffie has worked at several jobs. She and Thomas now own and operate the Brownville Auto Service. Ruffie has traveled to Hawaii, Canada, Oregon, and California. Her hobbies are children and photography.
